Dana has won 14 "Best of Denver" awards for her various events over the years, including "Best New Festival" for the first Unicorn Festival, "Best Arty Markets," Best Food Fair" and "Best Annual Event" three years in a row. She got her start running sci-fi and fantasy conventions in the 1970s, and has loved and collected unicorns since childhood.
