Kennebec Early Music Festival


The Second Annual Kennebec Early Music Festival is bringing together musicians of national and international renown from San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Portland, and Bath to perform the music of Bach, Dowland, Mozart, Beethoven, and other classical masters on historic instruments – Baroque violin and violoncello, Italian harpsichord, and replicas of a Baroque chalemeau, a Basset Clarinet in A, and Clarinets in B-flat and C and two different Viennese fortepianos.

Unique in the State of Maine, this summertime festival aspires to become an regular annual summer event that will attract audiences to our breathtakingly beautiful Midcoast Region.
