History:
In 2008, we had a big dream to bring a haunted house to East Tennessee. Haunted houses were a fun rite of passage growing up in the fall, but we realized those had mostly fallen by the wayside. In 2009, our dreams became a reality. Dead Man’s Farm opened as a humble haunted house with about 20 volunteer actors for a total of 10 nights in Lenoir City, TN. We put our heart and soul into building it and hoped there were people like us that would enjoy the thrill of a haunted house as much as we did. We were overwhelmed by the response from the community and immediately began making plans for 2010. Each year we added new rooms, a midway with escape rooms, a fire performance team, a coffin ride, concessions and more until we were bursting at the seams. We celebrated our 10th season with a bang in 2018 and immediately began looking for a property that could house our even bigger dreams. We settled on a farm in Philadelphia, TN the summer of 2019 and named it Nightfall Acres to honor our roots in nighttime entertainment as well as celebrate the sunset views from the new farm.
