The Merchants Association of Columbia County (MACC), GA is a NON-PROFIT 501(c)(3) organization. We are an independent, civic minded, non-governmental group, established in 1962.
We are committed volunteers. Our goal is to sponsor and preserve many local family traditions by creating a safe, fun environment for events that will help our community grow together. We are local active and retired business owners and many other community associates.
The Fall and Spring County Fairs are our biggest fundraisers and main focus. The first fair was held more than five decades ago and has grown to become one of the finest fairs held in East Georgia. In 1994, the Merchants Association purchased property for a permanent Columbia County Fairgrounds on Columbia Road.
