In collaboration with Carl Bailey and the Fly-in Café, this festival promises an unforgettable experience for music lovers and art enthusiasts alike. The journey to the creation of the Appalachian Blues Festival is a testament to the resilience and passion of the Huntington Blues Society. Emerging from the challenges of the pandemic, our society sought a new home for our monthly meetings, and in the summer of 2022, Carl Bailey extended a gracious invitation to host our gatherings at the Fly-in Café. With our first meeting and jam held in October of the same year, Carl's generosity sparked a new chapter in our story.
