Women+Film supports and promotes the visionary work of women filmmakers around the world and here at home to ensure ways for women to succeed as storytellers who will shape our cultural landscape and inspire audiences across Colorado. Films by and about women showcase the complexity of a large portion of our world, and bring to light the intricacy of a diverse environment. These stories are a powerful opportunity to connect us and to reflect on our own nature as individuals and as members of a larger community.

Augusto Góngora, a veteran Chilean journalist and prominent chronicler of the crimes of the Pinochet regime, and Paulina Urrutia, actress, activist and politician, have been a tight-knit loving couple for over 20 years. Augusto was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s eight years ago, and now Augusto and Paulina face the inexorable and accelerating descent of his physical and mental powers together.
