The Event Is Held Every Year To Honor The Return Of The Fall-Run Chinook Salmon (Also Known As King Salmon). The Theme Of The 2024 Salmon Festival Is From Sea To Stream: The Journey Of The Fall-Run Chinook Salmon.
In The Fall, Chinook Salmon Swim From The Ocean To Rivers And Tributaries To Spawn. Many Of The Migrating Salmon Will Head To Rivers Like The Sacramento And American Rivers. However, A Smaller Number Make Their Way To Our Very Own Putah Creek.
The Event Will Offer Live Music, Childrens Activities, Food Trucks, And More!
