Virginia Tech Honor Band Festival

The weekend culminates with performances in the Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre in the Moss Arts Center. This concert is free and open to the public.

Schedule of the Event:

7:30 AM - Shuttles begin, Chicken Hill Parking Lot to Squires Student Center (We recommend dropping students off at Squires Student Center and then directors and parents taking the shuttle)

8:00 AM - Registration begins in Squires Student Center - Registration Desk (next to elevator on first floor) Temporary Parking will be available at Squires

8:30 AM - Auditions (Squires Student Center): Flute 240, Oboe 238, Bassoon 236, Clarinet 242-U, Saxophone 242-G, Trumpet 242, Horn 242-T, Trombone 167, Euphonium/Tuba 242-A, Percussion 249

10:30 AM - Virginia Tech Admissions Office Presentation - Recital Salon

11:15 AM - Lunch on Own

12:30 PM - Guides Available in Registration Area to Direct Students to Rehearsal Locations (See Honor Band website for guided directions)

- GOLD HOKIE BAND, Rehearsals Begin, Moss Arts Center Stage

- MAROON HOKIE BAND, Rehearsals Begin, CID-LLC

- ORANGE HOKIE BAND, Rehearsals Begin, Haymarket

- SILVER HOKIE BAND, Rehearsals Begin, Commonwealth

4:30 PM - Rehearsal Ends, Students may leave large instruments in rehearsal spaces. Rehearsal spaces will be locked.

4:45 PM - Photo in Moss Arts Center, Wear Honor Band T-Shirt

7:30 PM - Virginia Tech Honor Band Band-A-Rama Concert: Moss Arts Center, Featuring the VT Wind Ensemble and The Marching Virginians. Concert is free and open to the public.

9:00 PM - Honor Band Band-A-Rama Concert Ends
