Tractors & Treasures is looking for advertisers! The third weekend in September marks the 55th Annual Tractors & Treasures, Steele City. The event is held by the Jefferson County Historical Society at Steele City, Nebraska. Steele City is located just 12 miles southeast of Fairbury on Hwy 8. Tractors of all makes and condition are welcome. It is a free non-competitive show. Hit-and-miss small engines and lawn/garden tractors are also welcome.

On Sunday the Tractor Drive at 9 a.m., Church Service at 1 p.m. and Tractor Parade at 3 p.m.

The Tractor Drive, Scenic Tour, participants meet at 8:45 AM and leave at 9:00 AM from the Tractor Show area.

Farm Truck Show, 9:30-2 PM, Downtown West Lots, Register at Tractor Tent. Old Semi Trucks, Straight Trucks & Farm Pickups (no cars or trailers). Tractor Parade at 3:00 p.m.

The music by "Down Town" will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Old Gas Station. The Steele City Presbyterian Church will conduct a Community Church Service at 1:00 PM north of the Old Gas Station and have a Lunch Stand.

The Prairie Blacksmith Association will have demonstrations at the Blacksmith Museum both days. The Bank Museum and Livery Museum will both be open with displays.
