For 36 years, the Stormy Weather Arts Festival on the first weekend in November has been one of Cannon Beach’s most popular events. You can immerse yourself in the creative culture that has long been a part of this community recognized as one of the 100 best art towns in America. The weekend offers musical performances and gallery events with the opportunity to meet renowned artists, see their latest works, or watch them demonstrate their techniques.

This one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrates the stunning artistry of local and regional artists, who have embraced the challenge of working within the constraints of this compact form, 6x6 inches or smaller.
10am-5pm - Meet the Artist at Bronze Coast Gallery

Stormy Weather Arts Festival is a great time to connect with our clients and artists. We have five artists attending this year: Jane DeDecker, Jim Eppler, Cary Henrie, Robert Rogers, and Christopher White.
11am-2pm - "Dueling Easels" at DragonFire Gallery
DragonFire Gallery - 123 S Hemlock St
Gallery opens at 10am. 11am to 2pm artist demonstrations continue. Anton Pavlenko and Michael Orwick will reprise their ever-popular "Dueling Easels collaboratively painting on- and completing - two canvases.
11am-5pm - Stormy Weather at White Bird Gallery
White Bird Gallery - 251 N
Hemlock Gallery will be open from 11am to 5pm featuring the new show for Stormy Weather Arts Festival. New Exhibition continues through December 10th.
1pm-4pm - Watercolor and the Rock
Miska Studio Gallery - 107 Sunset Blvd
Watercolor with Greg Scott during Stormy Weather. Enjoy this all inclusive watercolor workshop. You will learn two different painting styles for creating stormy weather with Paynes gray. You will paint two perspectives of Cannon Beach Haystack Rock while enjoying good conversation and refreshments. For ticket information, scan the QR code on the brochure. $139 per person
2pm-5pm - Craft Day at the Pelican
Pelican Brewing Company - 1371 S Hemlock St
Come join the flock at Pelican Brewing for Craft Day with Hammer and Stain! $35 includes everything you need for your project and a $10 credit towards food or beverage of your choice. Select your craft when purchasing tickets. To purchase tickets, scan the QR code on the brochure. $35 per person
3pm-6pm - Everybody Has a Story
Coaster Theatre Playhouse - 108 N Hemlock St
Everybody Has a Story features three solo speak storytellers. These are grown up stories for grown-ups. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you will leave the theater changed a little.
