Introduction: Featuring The Sock Hop!
Starry Nights @the Plaza event features the Food Truck League food trucks and 1950s party band The Sock Hop.
It's all happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, Sept. 19. The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m., and The Sock Hop will play on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Go to thefoodtruckleague.com for the lineup of the food trucks that will be there. The Sock Hop plays 1950s bop radio hits. They are a four-piece band with three singers, who dress in 1950s authentic costuming. The band started in Taylorsville in 2021. Listen to a sample of their music here.
