Join us for a Free, family-friendly celebration of Ocracoke's summer bounty!
The 11th annual Fig Festival will take place at the Berkley Barn on Ocracoke Island. The festival features live music, traditional Ocracoke square dancing, children’s crafts, talks by local fig experts, and vendor booths offering fig preserves, fig cakes, fig trees, local cookbooks, and other fig-tastic items. The weekend's finale will be a dance with the Ocracoke Rockers!

10am - 1pm: Activities for kids - (tie dye, fig leaf modpodge)
11am: Q & A with Chester - on Barn porch
Noon: Q & A with Chef Dean - on Barn porch
1pm: Live music with Playing Possum on the Manor porch
1:30pm: Cakes on Display
2pm: Judging begins, followed by Fig-for-all
3-5pm (or until sold out): Fish Fry with Ocracoke Seafood Company (Fish House)
3:30-5pm: Live music with Molasses Creek on Barn stage
5:30-7pm: Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" on Manor porch
7pm: Awards & announcements, raffle drawing on Barn Stage
7:15-8pm: Live music with Playing Possum on the Barn stage
8-11pm: Live music with the Ocracoke Rockers on Barn stage
