Live Music, Dancing, Delicious Food and Pastries!

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church’s food festival is one of the great Greek food festivals of Pittsburgh. Located in the heart of Mt. Lebanon, the festival evokes the sights, sounds, and tastes that define the traditional Greek way of life.

This year, we’re celebrating with a full village festival featuring all your Greek favorite delicacies, traditional folk dancing, shopping, church tours, Greek beer and alcohol, and much more!. Plus, our outdoor veranda will be open for outdoor dining with live music and taverna bar.

Our outside tent area features gyros, savory souvlaki, lamb chops, sliced rotisserie leg of lamb, fried loukoumades, pastries, and drinks at the Taverna, and can be enjoyed on our beautiful veranda overlooking Mt. Lebanon. Inside, you’ll find Greek delicacies such as oregano chicken, pastitsio, moussaka, our famous lamb shank, tiropita, spanakopita, meat stuffed grape leaves, and so much more. Listen to the distinctive sounds of the bouzouki and other exotic instruments played by authentic Greek musicians, and delight in the beauty of traditional folk dancing by performers in elaborate costumes. Shop in the Greek marketplace, grab a drink at the Taverna, and enjoy homemade pastries like baklava, galatobouriko, finikia, and kataifi.
