Our 2025 Flag Day Parade will kick off at noon on Friday, June 13 from City Hall Park, follows down Broadway, and ends at the grandstand in front of Fraunces Tavern at about 12:30pm. The Ceremony includes the student Essay Contest winners reading their essays on “What the American Flag Means to Me” and more!
This year’s Flag Day parade will also commemorate the 250th anniversaries of the formation of our Nation’s armed forces (Army on June 14, 1775, Navy on October 13, 1775, and Marine Corps on November 10, 1775), and of George Washington’s selection as Commander in Chief by the Continental Congress on June 15, 1775.
