Cat Video Fest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Cat Video Fest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area
The Palace Theater is proud to partner with Action 4 Animals Hawai’i as the recipient of 10% of all ticket sales for our November 3rd screening. Action 4 Animals Hawai’i is a group of volunteers, fosters, and big-hearted animal lovers located on the Big Island of Hawai’i. They aim to get as many at-risk animals adopted into loving homes and help control the animal population on Hawai’i Island. Since 2022 they have found homes for over 800 Big Island animals! As of Jan. 1, 2024 375 kittens and cats have been fostered by A4A HI volunteers and subsequently adopted. They have also placed 93 puppies and dogs with wonderful families since the beginning of this year. Action 4 Animals Hawaii has bi-monthly Hilo Petco Adoption Fairs, quarterly community adoption events and fostering classes AND they maintain the Hilo Petco kitty cubbies! They collaborate closely with PetFix and numerous other rescues to achieve island-wide well-being for as many cats and dogs as possible.
People love cat videos, and they love coming together for a shared experience. Cat Video Fest is committed to bringing the joy of cat videos to the masses, while doing good for the worldwide community of people working to help cats in need.
