Apex EarthFest is an engaging, interactive festival for our local community, offering ways to learn about, participate in, and celebrate our planet.
This year’s celebration features:
Live and roving performances by the Asheville Cats, "the Bubble Man", and Poetry Fox
Recycled instrument activity with The Scrap Exchange
Recycling Butterfly Art with artists Anna Podris and Keith Norval
Repair Café where guests can bring broken household items like electrical appliances, toys, jewelry, lamps, clocks, and furniture and learn how to repair them with the help of a repair coach! Registrations and walk-ins welcome.
Low waste food truck rodeo offering BPI-certified product containers: Frasketta Pizza Romana, Wandering Wolf, Oat and Co. and St. Paul's Baklava Sundaes
Vendors Marketplace showcasing Apex-based and regional information and resources
Schedule of Events:
12:00 pm: Event kickoff
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Asheville Cats take the stage, with R&A performing during set breaks
Know Before You Go:
Parking is available around Town Hall Campus
The parking lot between Apex Town Hall and the John M. Brown Community Center will be closed
Depending on the weather, this event may move indoors to the Apex Senior Center
Town staff may be on site during the festival taking photos/video of festival events and attendees
