Annual Sierra Madre Winter Carnival

The 38th Annual Sierra Madre Winter Carnival is January 24th and 25th, 2025. Join us for this fun, family friendly event! Several events held here at the Opera House and everything except the Casino Nite fundraiser are FREE!

Schedule of Events:

Snow Art: Register at the Encampment Town Hall by 12 pm. Art must be complete by Saturday at 12 pm. Sponsored by the Platte Valley Arts Council.

2:30 pm: Human Saucer Bowling-Registration starts at 2pm. Races start at 2:30pm at 0 and Rankin in front of the Presbyterian Church.
6:00 pm: Treasure Hunt: Most at the Tower Room at the Opera House. Hunt begins promptly at 6. Get there early or you might miss out! Dinner and drinks provided. Sponsored by Evergreen Disposal and The Beartrap Cafe and Bar..
