26th Annual Magnolia Festival Of Oklahoma
Honoring the heritage of Durant, also known as the "City of Magnolias," the annual Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma began in 1997 and features a variety of activities perfect for a fun-filled family weekend.
Occurring the weekend after Memorial Day each year, guests can enjoy a carnival with rides, games, delicious fair food, and a stunning firework display on opening night. With a wide variety of events, including an art show, live entertainment, children's activities, tractor show, food vendors, and hundreds of shopping booths, the Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma is a guaranteed fun-filled weekend in Durant for visitors of all ages. The Magnolia Festival has been honored with the Redbud Award for "Outstanding Event" from the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association.
The Magnolia Festival also hosts various other activities throughout the community during the festival weekend, including a 5K and Fun Run in Downtown Durant and the Durant Rotary Magnolia Bike Tour.
